Scriabin - Sonata No. 5, Op. 53
Sviatoslav Richter, piano

“The Poem of Ecstasy took much of my strength and taxed my patience. So now are you imagining me giving myself over to rest, something I have wanted for so long? No, not at all! Today I have almost finished my Fifth Sonata. It is a big poem for piano and I deem it the best piano composition I have ever written. I do not know by what miracle I have accomplished it.”

It’s either I want to feel like this song, or I already do… But i don’t know what it means.
